Your Ultimate Weekend Guide #SPON

Your Ultimate Weekend Guide

So Friday is rolling around the corner, and another two days of rest is upon us before hitting the grind on Monday once again. If your weekends are looking a little dreary and bland, read on for your guide to an ultimate weekend of friends, food, and fun.

  • Morning Yoga

Depending on your Friday night activity, you may wake up on Saturday feeling a little achy and tired. Start your ultimate weekend with a quick 15-30 minute yoga routine to wake up your body and stretch out tired limbs. Your body and energy will thank you the remainder of the day! Yoga With Adrienne is my fave to watch. Her videos for back pain are brilliant!

  • Brunch

Nothing says “hello, weekend” than rounding up the best friends and heading over to your favourite spot for an extended brunch. Coffee, pancakes, light sandwiches, and an early cocktail are some of the fantastic things that await you at lunch. Quality conversations and a no-need-to-rush ambience exist at brunch. If you are looking for a new place to hit up with the pals, try Duck and Waffle for a city view and great food.

  • Cinema
I adore going to the cinema- I'm there almost every weekend so for me this is the ultimate in relaxation. This Oscar season coming up sometimes I see two films in a day. London has some gorgeous cinemas to visit so I'd definitely recommend somewhere like Electric Cinema.

  • Dinner and Movie – Home Style

After an adventurous day out, it is now time to kick up your feet at home with a great meal and your favourite flick. Invite some friends over to watch a comedy, or dig into a documentary on your own. Netflix has all of your viewing needs, including binge-worthy shows. I'm currently obsessing over Crazy-Ex Girlfriend and Luther (HOW have I not watched it before now?!). Place an order through for your favourite takeaway and you won’t need to lift a finger to get hot delicious food dropped off at your door. Relaxation bliss!

  • Museum

After a satisfying brunch, why work off the calories with a stroll around a museum, and learn things at the same time? A great activity with friends or solo, museums are a great way to pass the hours without making time feel wasteful. Stop by the National Portrait Gallery in London – best of all, admission is free.

  • A Quick Stroll

Get some late afternoon fresh air and take a stroll along Regent’s Canal. This picturesque location filled with lively pubs, beautiful architect and nature is a great excuse to get outdoors. Take as little or as long of a time that you need to either de-stress and reflect, or spark up conversation with strangers at the pubs.

  • Pub Crawl

The amount of pubs and bars we have at our fingertips is something to take advantage of! If you have yet to explore all of your city’s waterholes, now is the time to arrange a pub-crawl with your friends. Discover new places that you have yet to visit, and end the night at your favourite spot for a nightcap. Gather friends and strangers alike, and cheers to an amazing weekend!
