New On The Scene: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Range

I went to the launch event for the Neutrogena Hydro Boost range a few weeks ago and blogged about the experience and general overview of the range over on Really Ree which you can find here

There were a couple of stand out pieces for me so thought I would cover them more this is review as I have had chance to properly road test them so can give you my honest thoughts.
The whole Hydro Boost range contains a Hyaluronic Gel Matrix that provides skin with supercharged Hyaluronic acid which provides your skin with constant hydration throughout the day and targeted to where you need it most. It really is something quite special.

First up we have the Hydro Boost Water Gel Cleanser is a really lightweight gel that removes every trace of makeup and dirt with its gel to foam formula. It is a really concentrated foam that forms when you add the water and it does make my skin feel super clean but also very slightly tight. Not enough to makeup a big difference, but it is worth noting. This helps to protect the skins barrier and lock in hydration.

The packaging is spot on for the product and any kind of blue packaged product catches my eye and if you were to see it on the shelf, you can immediately tell that it will be a hydrating product.

Next up we have the Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser. This luxurious gel cream melts into the skin and you feel it drinking it up straight away providing your skin with constant moisture throughout the day. I use this in the morning and at night after cleansing with the gel cleanser. As I found the gel cleanser making my skin feel a tad tight, I apply this straight away and it eases everything off. It's intensely hydrating, not at all sticky or tacky and has a very subtly fresh scent. It's also oil free and suitable for sensitive skin. There is also another formula in this collection which is more intensely hydrating and for dry/sensitive skin. I wouldn't use it currently, but in the Winter months I can see it coming in very handy indeed.

Have you tried the Hydro Boost range yet?

It's available now and exclusive to Boots.

The Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser is available HERE for £12.99 and the Gel Cleanser is available HERE for £7.99.
