Tantastic: St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower

Ok, so it has to be said. Fake tan and I in general aren't really the best of friends. You name a tan, i've tried it and failed miserably. That was until I discovered St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower last year. They had only released the one shade last summer 'Light', this was fine for me as I wanted to test the water and see if I actually got on with it.

It was an absolute revelation!! You can read more about the light version HERE. I decided this time to up my game with Golden Glow Medium knowing that it wouldn't be too dark for me. Once again, St Tropez have hit the spot. This lotion gives a gorgeous medium tan which you can layer if you wish (I used it 3 days in a row) to get a darker colour and I didn't look like creosote- wonderful! This is super easy to apply, you don't need a mitt or anything. You just apply it all over, wash your hands, wait 3 minutes and then shower it off. I promise you, it really is that easy.

There is not biscuity smell at all, and gradually develops but doesn't leave any hint of colour on white bed sheets so it's pretty much perfect. Just remember to exfoliate as usual before applying which goes for any kind of tan. But you won't be disappointed.  After developing, it's a really natural finish with not a streak in sight. You can usually find it on some sort of offer in Boots too which is a bonus.

I can't recommend this highly enough!

You can buy it HERE now for £14.50

p.s When I say wash your hands after applying- do it. I forgot to the first time around and look like i'd been peeling oranges with all of my cuticles stained!! Learn from my mistake.

  1. It sounds like such a good formula, especially as there's no biscuity smell xx
