April Favourites

April has been a hellabusy month and it's flown by. It's the month I turned 28 and also got a new job. I decided to include non beauty favourites as well as beauty ones so I'll jump straight into it.

First up for non beauty faves are the Wize & Ope LED Shoes, I saw them and it was love at first light! There are 8 different colour ways and also you can have them on a flashing mode that fade in and out with the different colours. They're charged using a mini usb ports that are concealed within the shoe and you charge them up using your laptop or plug with usb connector. They take 2 hours to charge and you get 8 hours of wear from them. Just don't wear them in the rain! You can buy them HERE .

These sunglasses were a birthday present from my friend Aimz and I just sent away to have my prescription put in them. They are so me it's unreal and they came from TK Maxx as I was Aimz when she bought them. You definitely won't miss me in a crowd this summer with these shades and my light up shoes!

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes is a heart breaking love story about Will Trainer and Louisa Clark. She gets made redundant and takes on a new job to care for Will who after an accident became paralyzed. I won't ruin the story but I've read it in about a week and it's so utterly brilliant. I wanted to read the book before the film comes out in June and I've already got the sequel Me After You winging its way to me. You can watch the trailer HERE

Now for the beauty favourites:

I Feel Like A Million Dollars palette by Rosie for Autograph: I have already done a full review of this which you can read here, I have used it pretty much every single day in April and it's pretty much perfect. There is absolutely nothing bad to to say about it. // £18.00

Jaclyn Hill x Becca - Champagne Pop Highlighter: I bought this back in New York in December and have used it constantly since I got it. It's the most beautiful buttery highlight that gives you the most incredible glow ever. You can check out my full review with swatches HERE

Benefit's Maybe Baby Perfume: I've been trying to use perfumes that I haven't worn in a while and this brings back so many memories for me. I've had it for a really long time because this is old packaging and i'll definitely be buying a new one when this is finished. The base notes are white musk, himalayan poppy and warm peach, the middle notes are cyclamen, lychee and bergamot and the top notes are apricot and white ginger. I can't say that I really notice the ginger notes at all. I just see it as a really fresh and warm summer scent. You can buy it HERE now // £19.50

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - My favourite mascara of all time and my ultimate go to mascara. Everything about it floats my boat and it's the only mascara I've used all month pretty much. I have a full review HERE as I bleat on about it enough. They even do a waterproof version too which was launched in April. The one featured in the picture is the travel version but I've got a full sized one waiting to be used- always stocked up! // £19.00

Lancôme Juicy Shaker in Berry In Love -This is a gorgeously berry scented biphase lip colour that you shake to get the desired shade for you. I did a more in depth post HERE and there will be a full review with swatches soon as it definitely deserves its own post. You can apply without even needing a mirror and are surprisingly moisturising too. You can buy them now HERE // £18.00

L'Oreal True Match Foundation: This foundation is really easy to blend, provides buildable coverage. It applies evenly and is really long lasting, so great for daytime and then build up for night time if you want. I hate the term 'glow from within' but it does make your skin look really bright and fresh. I find using a buffing brush is the best way to apply. // £9.99 HERE
