As Revlon are undergoing a serious beauty makeover- I couldn't help but notice these little beauties when I was in New York back in December. Bright lips are my thang and I've never been one to pass up the opportunity of a brand new bright lip product.

These ones in question are the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor's. I featured them back in Blogmas when I saw that they were going to be released and you can read that HERE. There are 8 shades in the collection ranging from nudes to bright reds. If they are a success, I can see them adding more colours to collection which I think they will as they tick all the boxes for awesome non dehydrating mattes.

The formula is of a wax-free gel texture and applies like a dream, and it is an easy product to top up without it going claggy on the lips. The wear is great and even so there won't be a ring left outlining your lips (very 90's TLC look). The application is doe foot like but quite flexible so it really hugs your lips on application and the rounded tip means that it fits around the cupids bow perfectly.

The packaging is really appealing to me with its frosted effect finish on the casing, along with the sleek flattened oval shape of the tube. Its a very sleek design and looks much more expensive that it's price tag. Being a flatter shape, they'll fit into your handbag easier and not take up as much space, or if you put it in your pocket, it's not going to bulge out. They're also super easy to find in your handbag!

The scent- well..... It's a lot better than the L'Oreal rose scented lip products put it like that. Creamy mango and whipped vanilla is the scent of these and it's not too bad and overpowering but still not my first choice in a scent. How creamy can a mango be? and does whipped vanilla smell better than normal vanilla? I dunno where they come up with these names and weird scent combinations but can't have a nice subtle scent that won't assault our senses?

They feel super moisturising on the lips, even though they are a matte formula which is fantastic as that is what usually makes me steer clear of a matte. It glides onto the lips and only one coat is needed for the perfect coverage- time saving too!
