BLOGMAS DAY 9 : KAT VON D EVERLASTING LIQUID LIPSTICKS

A friend of mine went to San Francisco recently and picked up a few bits from Sephora for me. Amongst the goodies were these beauties from Kat Von D- The Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. I've been a massive Kat Von D fan for years, and couldn't wait to get my hands on these. When it comes to reapplying lippies, I really don't have the patience at all, so any long lasting lippie gets a thumbs up from me. These are such a beautiful formula and the matte is not at all drying on the lips.

I opted for Bauhau5 - A beautiful deep raspberry which is absolutely perfect for this time of year. The second shade I decided on was Bacholorette - beautiful blue based red which is perfect for the festive period.

The packaging is so intricate and beautiful with the silver tattooed like detailing on the cap and along on the outer casing on the tube. The standard applicator is a doe-foot which loads the perfect amount of product so you don't go OTT.

I can't get enough of these stunning products and their lasting power in wonderful and they don't rub off easily or transfer at all. This can be a little bit of an issue to remove but with an oil based cleanser it's not a problem really.

There are some UK sites that sell Kat Von D like Rose's Beauty Store. So you won't get whacked with the import charges that Sephora have. I would definitely urge anyone to try these.

Just a tip- exfoliate your lips first, then apply a balm whilst you do the rest of your makeup, to allow them to befall supple and smooth before you apply this, as it will cling to any dry patches of the lips.

  1. These look great on you! I currently use the Kat Von D foundation and powder but I am gutted I didn't pick some of these up when I was in America!
