LIB Awards Winners Box

I was pleasantly surprised the other day when I recieved an email saying that I was one of the Latest In Beauty #mywinnersbox winners. I'd entered the competition on Instagram but due to an error in miscommunication their end, I'd never been contacted. It's fair to say that I was pretty delighted as I had been humming and ahhing at whether to get the box or not.

Sooo without further ado, I present to you the 2015 LIB Beauty Awards Winners....

1) Body Beautiful: The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Miracle Solid Oil- This smells divine and it's one of my favourite range from The Body Shop. This is perfect for super dry skin and also for your hair too- it leaves a gorgeous glossy finish to the hair and leave skin soft and nourished.

2) Best Newcomer: I think it would have been obvious that Zoella would have won this catergory just because of the sheer number of followers/subscribers etc she has, so people were more likely to vote for her than brands they've never heard of. It wasn't as Tutti Fruity as I'd thought- which was great as I was expecting it to be super sickly sweet and it wasn't at all. I don't find the product fizzes, it just kind of dissolves and thats that- If you're a fan of lush bath bombs- this will disappoint. It leaves a nice, fresh scent in the bath but that's about it. I would love to have seen Skin & Tonic win for their Steam Clean cleansing balm which is just absolutely gorgeous.

3) Skincare Saviour: Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream. I haven't used this yet but it does smell gorgeous. Perfect for a quick cleanse in the morning and I'll use it as second cleanse in the evening whilst giving myself a little face massage.

4) Cult Classic: La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+  - This is a moisturiser that is specifically designed for oily/acne prone skin. I don't suffer from either of these but will use it if I have a breakout, but just in the area in which I've broken out.

5) Green Award: Dr Organic Snail Gel Facial Serum - Now as someone who hates snails with a passion, I absolutely adore this serum. In fact I'm half way through my first bottle at the moment. It smells like Green Tea with Lemon, really fresh and citrusy. It's a runny serum so be careful when you use it because it comes out pretty quickly but absorbs into the skin super fast. Helix Aspersia Muller (snail gel) and aloe vera combine to make a soothing and hydrating serum. I definitely feel my skin is a lot smoother since using it and my skin drinks it up. I usually use with a tad of Hydraluron by Indeed Labs for an extra boost.

6) Best Eye Makeup: Eye of Horus Brown Eyeliner- I haven't properly tested this yet, just swatched it but the colour seems very dense and very long lasting. It doesn't feel very 'draggy' and glides onto the skin.

7) Hottest Haircare: I was glad to get another sample of the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer as its an amazing product. As its a pre-shampoo treatment though, I find myself forgetting to put it on and only remember when I'm ready for conditioner! This product has been doing the rounds a lot in recent beauty boxes so its nice to have another one to add to the stash.

8) Blogger's Choice Award: COLAB Dry Shampoo- as a dark haired gal its pretty tough to find one that doesn't leave a powdery white residue and this is fantastic. It smells delicious too and prefect to throw in your bag if you're on the go. It also adds lots of volume and doesn't weigh hair down.

9) Must Have: Burt's Bees Lip Crayon- Not the biggest fan of this scent at all, but it does give a pretty and hydrating sheen on the lips and is handy with the twisty up bullet so you don't need a sharpener. Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Kendi Oil provide a lip thirst quencher to keep them soft and kissable.

You can get your LIB Awards box HERE for £21.95 + p&p - a total bargain as the whole contents are worth £84.00
