KIKO MINI HAUL

I went into Central London the other day to meet a mate, and had no idea that Kiko had opened a new store there. I was beyond excited as I love Kiko but most of the time, I can't be arsed to trek up to Oxford Street to go to the store there, so being in Covent Garden is a total winner for me.

I picked up 2 products from the beautiful Midnight Siren collection, along with a lip product that I eyed up near the till.

First up I'll go with the BB Lip Glaze in Rose Quartz. Such a pretty pink nude and glides on so easily. The wear isn't incredible as it's not a super sticky formula. That doesn't really bother me though because I would reapply lip balm a lot and this is comfortable on the lips like a balm, so topping it up is no problem. Wild mango butter, shea butter, vitamin e and raspberry oil moisturise and nourish the lips giving it a subtle fruity scent. LOVE these! There are 8 shades to choose from, mostly neautral with a couple of brights that give a sheer finish  // £6.90 each

Next up is a product that got me hook, link and sinker. The Moonshadow Water Infused Eyeshadow. When I swatched this, it was instantly cooling on the skin- it had me at that! The applicator is a twist up angled pencil and glides on like silk. It blends beautfully but have found that it creases quite easily. It can be used as a wash of colour, or added to for a more intense look. I opted for the shade Mysterious Chocolate- hmmm how mysterious can chocolate be hey? Anyway, if you can get past the creasing- it is lovely product and can be used a good base for shadow to make it stay put. There are 4 shades to choose from. // £7.90

The last product is without a doubt my favourite- the Shape & Shimmer Eyebrow and Highlight Pencil. Does exactly what it says on the tin! I picked it up, and then put it down doing the ol' "Oh I have enough brow products, I really don't need another", but when I got to the till there was a stand next door and the sales advisor was like "Oh have you tried our new brow product". I just said yes and I'll have one. No more questions asked! The advisor recommended the Auburn shade as the dark brown is just WAY too dark for me.

It's a super pigmented fine tipped pencil with twist up action. The precise tip allows you to create hair strokes for a more natural finish. The other end is a golden highlighter to use under the brow bone. i'm such a fan of this, it's fast becoming a Holy Grail item for me. I seriously hope it stays as a permanent part of the Kiko line as it's amazing. This is a matt formula and the pencil is rigid enough to work with and doesn't clump brow hair together.  // £8.90
