Choosing the right moisturiser for your skin #SPONS

There are a number of moisturizers available in the market. It can be a confusing task to choose the right one for yourself when you are surrounded by a number of moisturisers. It is necessary to know when you need to use the moisturiser and what ingredients are included in it, to protect dry skin.
There are certain tips that will help you to choose the right one for yourself:
Know your skin type
If you have a dry skin, then go for oil based moisturizers that are heavier. In case there are some other issues, then you need to include different types of moisturizers in your beauty regime. A wide collection of moisturizers is available at Feel Unique, it's my first stop for skincare as so many brands are available.  Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is a fantastic moisturiser for dry skin.
If you are acne prone, or if you have oily skin it is better to go for a lighter moisturisers that aren't as heavy so not to weigh it down and clog up the skin more. Something like La Roche Posay Effaclat Mat would be ideal.
If your skin is easily irritable, use moisturisers that are light or contain natural ingredients such as aloe vera. It will help to soothe the skin and mend the cracks. Dyes and fragrances should be avoided. Something like Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Cream would be suitable- it's fragrance free and mild, but still provides your skin with all the goodness and moisture.
You may have dry skin in some areas and oily skin in other places. It's easy to confuse yourself trying to find the right moisturiser for yourself. You can always use two moisturisers- one for the dry patches, and one for the oiler patches.
Know skin problems
Dry skin can be the result of some other skin problems. You may experience dry and dead skin if you have psoriasis or eczema. More exposure to sun can also cause the skin to dry. So it is advised to consult a dermatologist as they will be able to recommend you the correct creams for your symptoms that you may not be able to get over the counter. Eucerin products are brilliant if you suffer mild eczema or psoriasis due to the Urea content which is a natural healer.
Read the labels
  • If you have oily skin go for the moisturisers that have water content. So check out its contents before buying it.
  • In case you have dry skin, you need to have oil based moisturisers, which contains tea tree oil or olive oil.
  • It is better to avoid using the moisturisers which has acid content in it.
Experiment with products
There are many products available in the market and it is not every one will suit you, so it's trial and error to find what's best for you. I even try certain products now that make my skin break out. But I find changing one item at a time, will help you weed out what product hasn't suited you. Some counters such as Clinique will allow you to have a 7 day sample to test out the product. It will help you to recognize the right moisturiser for yourself. Moreover, buying small bottles will save you from wasting in case you decide to discontinue use.
Your skin can get dry in the sun, so it is good to buy a moisturiser that protects your skin from sun too. This will also save you from buying a sunscreen lotion. Now get moisturisers with sunscreen for less by Click Here
Hope the above mentioned tips will help you to choose the right moisturiser for your skin.
