ARIANA GRANDE FOR MAC VIVA GLAM SPRING 2016

So Ariana Grande has been named as MAC's Viva Glam next ambassador, who will putting her name on to two very different but equally gorgeous shades come Spring 2016.

Every penny of the Viva Glam lipstick and lipglass goes towards helping women, men and children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. You can find more about the Viva Glam history HERE and the MAC Aids Fund HERE . I think this is a fab step forward and a really different shade to add to the collection.

The lipstick is a gorgeous deep matte plum, and if that's a little out of your comfort zone- you can opt for the soft pink lip glass which looks like it has a hella lot of sparkle to it. I think mixing the two would look gorgeous too. It's a shame it's coming in the Spring though as the lipstick is much more of an Autumn/Winter shade as opposed to Spring- but hey ho!

I can't seem to find any actual release date but it will be out in January at some point. If they're priced the same as the Miley Viva Glam products, then the lipstick will be £15.50 and the Lip Glass will be £14.50.

You're either gonna love this collection or not as there is no middle ground- you're either gonna full force with the deep plum or stay safe with the nude. Saying that, if the formula is a creamier matt (not Ruby Woo drying your lips til they shrivel up) formula then you may be able to create more of a subtle stain look. But we'll see. I'll definitely be heading to a store to try out first rather than buying online like with the Miley (coz that collection was a no-brainer!) I'm worried the plum could make teeth look yellower depending on the tone  so i'll check it out and get back to you nearer the time.

Which shade are you swaying towards?
