Fleur De Force Beauty

So yet another YouTuber has released a makeup line and after feeling a bit dubious- it's safe to say that this is brilliant capsule collection.
The collection consists of 2 palettes (Luna Rose and Cosmic Bronze - I bought Cosmic Bronze), 6 lip glosses, a makeup bag and a compact mirror.

The palettes will suit everyone with one being slightly cooler toned that the other and the glosses are half bright half neutral so you'll definitely find something you'll love. The packaging on the glosses is super sleek with the deep grey finish on the lid, with the same colour text on the tube it's really sophisticated and not overloading you with lots of garish patterns and colours etc. Simple and chic. The palette colours themselves are gorgeous but my main bug bear is that the brush you get with the palette is more of a lip brush. I mean it'll be impossible to use for these shadows.

The quad contains 4 shades, a champagne highlight, a taupe brown, bronze gold shadow and warm brown for the crease. Lots of looks to be had here and hardly any fall out so that gets a big thumbs up from me. Shade names would be handy though for the individual shadows just as reference point if talking to someone about them- makes things a lot easier.

For the glosses I picked up Written In The Stars (Nude) and Starry Starry Night (Berry Pink). These are a beautiful formulation with the gloss being quite thick but just the right amount of stickiness meaning they last a lot longer than normal glosses. The only niggle is that the doe-foot applicator is quite hard, so when applying it can drag slightly- if it was a smaller version of something like the Maybelline Colour Elixir's then it was apply easier as the tip would be fluffier. Saying that, the harder tip does aid for more precision around the cupids bow area so it's swings and roundabouts. It is a fantastic gloss with a vanilla scent (think MAC lipsticks) that's not at all over bearing.

Starry Starry Night- A gorgeous berry pink- Perfect for a night out.

Written In The Stars- A great everyday peachy nude. This will be my go to nude for a while!

The palettes are £7.99 each and the glosses are £6.99 each. These will make perfect stocking fillers this Christmas.

  1. I'm surprised they'd include that brush in the palette, a brush which I'm sure Fleur herself would never use? Call me cynical but I would have expected more from a beauty blogger makeup range.

    1. I like range as it's capsule. But when she did a video about the range- she did say the brush wasn't that great, but better than sponge applicators etc. If she didn't like it, why not say what you think? Everything else is great and the quality is the nicest of the bblogger ranges. Shame about the damn brush! x
