The Libbie Club July Box

I get pretty darn excited every time a Libbie Club drops on my doormat and this month has been a fantastic little box. I won't dilly dally about- I'll put my reviews here and then give the link to the Libbie Club page where you can take advantage of some fab offers on some gorgeous products.

First up is the Becca Beach Tint in 'Watermelon':

I have always wanted to try something from the Becca range so was excited to see this in the July box. I know Pixiwoo were a bit a fan of these when they launched and now I am too. The formula is quite sheer and quite runny, a little goes a long way. I tend to put a tiny amount the back of my hand, and gradually blend in using my Real Techniques Stippling Brush. Give this a good shake up before use as it separates quite easily.

The colour a gorgeous pinky nude with a tiny amount of shimmer. The shimmer is barely visible on the cheek and gives you a really pretty flush of colour. Suitable for all skin types, this can be mixed with other products or just used on its owen as lip or cheek stain. I do find the formula easy to use on the lips, as sometimes cream cheek/lip products are nearly impossible to use on lips but this gives a lovely wearable wash of colour without drying lips out. It's also water-resistant so perfect for holiday and pool side makeup.

Next up is Skin & Tonic Steam Clean Cleansing Balm....

This was by far my favourite product in the box. Skin & Tonic is new and quirky brand and this cleansing balm is just utterly brilliant. I wasn't sure if I like the scent to begin with but after a couple of uses, I found that it really relaxed me and was a pleasure to take my makeup off with. I usually use quite thick cleansing balms and this is hard and them melt to almost an oil in consistency. I thought because of this it wouldn't remove makeup as efficiently but I couldn't have been more wrong.

I really did put this to the test by laying up Benefit They're Real and my My Little Beauty mascara- not a trace of mascara was left. The scent is really fresh with spearmint oil, eucalyptus and English thistle. It also comes with a 100% organic cotton muslin cloth, and all of their products are made with only 7 ingredients or less. This is made with 6- beeswax, grapseed oil, thistle oil, borage oil, eucalyptus oil and spearmint oil- 5 of which are certified organic.

If you worry about what you put on your skin if it's particularly sensitive, or you just like clean beauty products without 1001 things in- this is for you. I love it!

Last but not least is the Bio Effect Volcanic Exfoliator...

I had never heard of this brand before getting this box, and always love to try out newbie products. This exfoliator contains Icelandic micro-crystalline lava (ooh-er!) and leaves your skin feeling super soft and supple. The particles are just the right size and not too abrasive on the skin unlike super fine exfoliants, but I still feel that I get a really nice deep clean.

The formula is more like a gel- which I haven't really seen before in a facial exfoliating product and its a pale yellow with the black bits particles held within. I use this after my first cleanse (usually a balm to remove all makeup), then this followed by a gel cleanser such as Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. A really pleasant product to use.

So here are the fab offers which you can take advantage of and have a mini splurge before (or after) payday. There is a limited number of stock for each item, so once it's gone- its gone!
