Latest In Beauty- Beauty Awards 2015

So as a massive LIB fan- if you haven't already guessed! It seemed fitting for me to have my say and get involved with the LIB Beauty Awards 2015.

There are 8 categories ranging from Cult Classic to Best Newcomer so here are the categories and what I decided to get from each one. There are 3 different boxes to choose from 1 box with 3 items, 1 box with 6 items, or 1 box with 9 products. I went large and opted for the 9 products, so here they are:

1) Cult Classic: I opted for DHC Cleansing Oil- A super silky cleansing oil that removes any trace of makeup that you may be wearing. I have used this a few times and leaves my skin super soft and glowing without any residue.

2) Body Beautiful: Kneipp Pure Bliss Bath Salts were a no brainer for me. I adore any Kneipp product and my whole entire family go mad for the Deep Sleep Bath Salts. I will always continue to use their products as they're really affordable and their products do exactly what they say on the tin.

3) Hottest Haircare: This category was a  pretty tough one for me as I had tried all 3 products that were nominated. The Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer is brilliant, and I decided on the Pop Band hair ties and the ones I got in a beauty box at Christmas are still going strong and leave absolutely no kinks in the hair whatsoever. I also opted for the COLAB Dry Shampoo- as a dark haired gal its pretty tough to find one that doesn't leave a powdery white residue and this is fantastic. It smells delicious too and prefect to throw in your bag if you're on the go. It also adds lots of volume and doesn't weigh hair down.

4) Skincare Saviour: I hadn't tried any of the products in this category so chose the Heaven Skincare Hydrogel in Orange Flower. I've yet to give it a proper go but its a pretty decent size. It can be used as a primer before makeup too!

5) Green Award: For this one I opted for something a little different in the Dr Organic Snail Gel- I felt brave at the time of buying the box, but now I'm not so sure. The stuff snails secretes is supposed to be good for your skin- I just have to get the past the thought of rubbing snail gunk into my mush! I also chose the Urban Veda Daily Purifying Face Wash with wild mint, eucalyptus and witch hazel. It smells utterly divine- definitely one for the morning cleansing routine

6) Must- Have Makeup: I chose nothing in the category as to be completely honest, not one of the three products nominated tickled my fancy so I gave it a miss!

7) Best Eye Makeup: Having tried the Horus liners before, I chose a Daniel Sandler Long Lasting Waterproof Liner in Green Velvet. Tip is pretty fine so this is perfect for anyone dubious about colour and you can just add a little under the lower lash line to spice things up a bit without going ott. Great.

8) Best Newcomer: I chose the Zoella Fresh Fizz bath fizzer as the range had just realised and I was curious to see what the line was like. It wasn't as Tutti Fruity as I'd thought- which was great as I was expecting it to be super sickly sweet and it wasn't at all. Even if the product wasn't the best in the World- its a sure fire thing that it will win the award purely on her huge fan base. I would love to see Skin & Tonic win for their Steam Clean cleansing balm which is just absolutely gorgeous.

So here are my picks. What did you think to the awards and did you pick a box up for yourself?

The awards close 26th July and winners announced in the first week of August. If you vote,  you get the chance of winning every product nominated totalling a massive £875!!

You can buy the box and vote here NOW.
