Saturday Shopping Haul

As I went shopping yesterday I thought I would share with you the few bits that I bought. I didn't go too over the top and as always I couldn't resist Lush, and this time neither could Andrew coming away with something for himself.

First up I tried Benefits They're Real Push Up Liner in one of their new shades ' Beyond Purple' It's more of an aubergine shade so much more wearable than a really vibrant purple. The texture is much creamier and easier to apply the the original, which I really didn't get on with at all. There will be a full review of this coming up when I've fully tried and tested it. In the mean time check out my original review here.

Next we headed to LUSH to pick up some bits and I have to give a shout out to Tas and Georgie in the Croydon store because they were both awesome and lovely and made our visit really enjoyable. I had used Whoosh shower jelly before and it's so refreshing and perfect for summer. I also picked up Hottie Massage Bar because I had never tried it and felt like trying something a bit different. As its summer and I'll be getting my arms and legs out I thought this would nourish any dry patches.

As it has been Pride and also the USA did the right thing in legalising same sex marriage Lush have made a soap bar called Love. with the logo #gayisok to support "All Out which is a non-profit organisation changing laws and shifting cultural norms to build a world where no person has to sacrifice their family, freedom, safety or dignity because of who they are or who they love".
Can't argue with that! The proceeds from each soap for the charity and you can also show your support by buying one of the soaps and taking a selfie with it using the #gayisok hashtag.

Andrew treated himself to D'Fluff Strawberry Shaving Soap and also Brisk Beard Oil from Boots- he's said he would do a little review on how he gets on with them, so that'll be something to look forward to.

I'm a massive fan of Rituals and when I saw House of Fraser had a sale on, I made a beeline for them. I chose Happy Buddha foaming shower gel sensation which literally smelt of Summer and also reduced from £8.25 to £4.25. Being the coupon queen that I am, I had a voucher for No7 with £5 skincare. I need a new one to leave at Andrews because I went to use my Balance Me Beauty one and it had gone mouldy- rank! So instead of £9.50 this only cost me £4.50. I have used it before and loved it so it couldn't have worked out better.

Last but not least was my Sharpies! These were £6.99 instead of £16.99 with any stationary purchase in WH Smith- so I bought a notebook for £1.49 and bobs your uncle! I don't know if i'll even use them all but Sharpies ALWAYS come in handy.

A x
