Bourjois Aqua Blush

New on the scene for Summer from Bourjois is the new Aqua Blush. This is a gel blush formula with 12hr wear and really blendable.

I didn't know which shade to choose from the 4 available so finally opted for Cocoricorail which has a touch of coral and perfect on slightly tanned skins. One pump is enough to do both cheeks and I find applying it with a Real Techniques Stippling Brush to get a really subtle flush of colour. The gel comes out really pigmented and to be honest I find less than one pump more than enough. The thing that I do love about this is the cooling effect of the gel on the skin when you apply it. It's also super lightweight and perfect for Summer when you want to be a bit more relaxed with makeup- it doesn't feel like you are overloading your skin. This beaut from Bourjois gets another thumbs up from me and the colour doesn't disappear from your cheeks after 5 minutes- it stays put.

The packaging is compact and doesn't take up much space in your makeup bag which is another bonus and I know I'll definitely be taking this on holiday with me next week.

As I managed to restrain myself from picking up the rest of the shades, I decided to swatch the other ones for you. From left to right there is:

Inge-Nude- 'A soft, easy to wear peach for a natural flush of colour' . This is perfect for lighter skinned gals

Cocoricorail - The shade that I opted for!

Pink Twice- 'A sweet pink for a rosy glow'

Berry Nice- 'A juicy berry tint to compliment your tan'

Have you tried the new Aqua Blush? What are your thoughts?

They're available now from here for £8.99

A x
