Tarte Cosmetics: Tartelette Palette

So after much faffing around on the Sephora website and hmming for ages, I decided against buying the Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette palette as I just couldn't justify the ridiculous import and shipping charges. As I was having a good old moan about this, I noticed that Amazon UK started to stock it there- BINGO! It was £44.99 with free postage and packaging. I snapped it up as soon as I could and awaited the palette of my dreams to arrive. I'm WAY too dramatic for my own- ya think?!

Anyway, here are some close ups and swatches if you are thinking of buying it and I would definitely say it was worth the investment. The only thing that annoyed me a bit was that the 'Fashionista' shade was slightly broken and because the colours are so buttery and pigments it scattered over the rest of the palette- but noting a baby wipe and tissue couldn't fix- still a bit frustrating though.

The shades are all matte and suitable for all skin tones as well as being clay-infused and long wearing and a dream to blend- there are some perfect highlight colours such as 'free spirit' and 'super mom' and gorgeous transition shades such as 'natural beauty' and 'wanderer'.

Fashionista is one of the most dense pigmented blacks that I have ever used.

L-R
Freespirit (Cream)
Force of Nature (Nude)
Dreamer (Warm Brown)
Multi-Tasker (Chocolate)

L-R
Caregiver (Pale Pink)
Natural Beauty (Mauve)
Best Friend (Mulberry)
Bombshell (Dark Plum)

L-R
Super Mom (Ivory)
Wanderer (Light Brown)
Power Player (Taupe)
Fashionista (Black)

Out of all of the shades I find the middle row more unusual as it's so difficult to find those warm mulberry and mauve shades in a matte formula.

All in a fab palette and I would definitely recommend

A x
