The Dream Box III x British Beauty Blogger

It seems a bit beauty box crazy at the moment- I think I received 4 within a week. I can't keep up!
I was most excited about this box as Jane from British Beauty Blogger never disappoints with her collaborations with Latest In Beauty. Unlike last time, I was actually off work so I could nab one before they all went. I also picked up the Givenchy Edit box that was released a few weeks back which I loved. I did an unboxing video too of the first box I received which you can find here.

So lets get to the nitty gritty and see whats inside and if it'll live up to the previous fabulous boxes.

First we have a sample of the Fleur de Figuier eau de perfume which is beautiful- perfect for summer. In the middle we have Orelia gold temporary tattoos- now I associate these with much younger people and personally don't wear them myself. Saying that they are cute and if you liked this kinda thang they'd be great for festival season boho chicness!. Crabtree & Evelyn have included a Pear and Magnolia body lotion- again I don't really go for body lotions, I'm just lazy! This will probably be thrown in my mums direction.

Hand Chemistry is a brand that I haven't tried before but have been meaning too so this is the perfect opportunity- I'll keep this in my handbag for on the go it contains 19.5% active complex and if its good enough for BBB then its good enough for me. Vita Liberata is a well known self tanning brand and as I don't self tan but may give this a go before I go on holiday so my legs aren't completely resembling milk bottles. On the right we have a Nuxe Creme Fraiche mask which I got in another beauty box recently but I ain't complaining as you can never have enough Nuxe.

Eye of Horus is a brand I've never even heard of, let alone tried and I'm always open to new brands and swatches this earlier and couldn't believe how creamy and soft it is to apply and blend. I received the shade 'Scarab Sapphire' a beautiful navy blue.
I have tried one of Makeup Revolutions The One Fluid Blushs' before (I have the shade Rush Me, which is like NARS Orgasm in fluid form) but in this box I was glad I got a different shade which was Malibu Ocean, a beautiful liquid bronze with gold undertones- really beautiful to blend into the skin the summer for a sun kissed glow. Dr Organic Lip Balm is also a product I haven't tried and I was given the shade 'Ice Mint' I have an abundance of balms everywhere from handbags to coat pockets so this will live somewhere! It a twisted balm but you twist from the top not the bottom- nifty!
On the makeup front Bourjois have had amazing game lately and bringing out so many awesome products. I recently tried the Aqua Laque's which are the sister product to the Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipsticks. In this box I received a REV in 07 'Nude-ist' which is a stunning nude. I don't really like the smell but I can out up with it as its so beautiful and really suits my complexion.

The Scottish Fine Soaps Au Lait bar soap smells beautiful and this will be headed straight for the bathroom, the tin is so cute too. Salon Science Reglosse Smoothing Serum is designed to restore and repair dry split ends and leave hair feeling super soft. I have thick curly hair so can't wait to try this and home it tames my mammoth mane!

I don't wear nail polish....ever really but these are cute shades for spring and summer including one of each of The Nudes and The Pastels. I have included swatches below so you can see their true colour. on the left is a brown nude with shiny finish and on the left is a pink pastel with an iridescent finish. 2 coats is definitely what you need to build the colour and I've heard the wear is really good too.
I refused to buy the full size of the They're Real remover form Benefit because it seemed like a bit of a swizz, so I'm excited to see if it's really as great as everyone says it is. It's also great for travel.

Last up we have a sample of the Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser. I have been excited to try Ole Henriksen for a while but I don't think its been easily available in the UK until recently. This is such a cool texture and smells really lovely and refreshing.

All in all there were more hits than misses in this box- I think I preferred the previous box as there were more makeup items. BUT this is just a personal preference. As a whole the box is fantastic and I will carry on buying the BBB boxes until they aren't made anymore. It been a great box to discover new brands or brands that I had heard of but not tried and for that I'm really grateful.

For £21.95 including p&p and the contents are worth £110 you can't grumble!

Well done Jane, another successful box in the bag!

Bring on BBB4!!

You can still nab one here
A x
