Latest In Beauty- Glamour Party Edit

Hey everyone,
I thought I would show you all a look at the Glamour Party Edit box from Latest In Beauty.
The Glamour collaborations tend be VERY good value and you get a lot of bang for your buck. The total value of this box comes to £88.65 and costs just £16.99. What is also great, is that it comes with a years subscription to the iPad or iPhone version of Glamour which is fab for those who love the magazine and its just handy to have it so conveniently on your phone.
So let's take a look....

1) L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin hairspray travel size. I'm not a hairspray kind of person really as I find it just irritates my scalp, and I don't like the feeling of product in my hair. However, Elnett is one of h only ones I actually like using. It's so lightweight, and provide a fantastic hold so your style will stay and then it just brushes out so there isn't any grungy build up. Love! Oh and this is an extra strength backcomb volume formula 75ml.

2) Wild About Beauty Powder Eyeshadow in 09 Heather: A deep purple plum with iridescent finish. These are embossed with a bee logo. There is also a mirror in the lid which is really handy. I have never used this brand before and the colour payoff is ok but not amazing. I would use it with a base underneath to make the colour more vibrant.

3) Popband London elasticated hair bands- There are 2 in the pack, one black and one gold and black dogtooth. These are designed to be kink-free bands that keep your hair firmly in place. A bit like the invisibobble bands without the coiled shape.

4) Philip Kingsley Shampoo & Conditioner 20ml each- These are the moisture balancing formula and they smell really lovely and fresh. I am looking forward to trying these as the Daily Defence spray smells INCREDIBLE and my hair feels gorgeous after using.

5) Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Grapefruit - This creates a really subtle pink shimmer on the lips with a hint of mint. Burt's Bees lip products are very nourishing on the lips but I'm just not overly loving the mint scent- for some reason they give me a headache!

6) Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Black Amethyst - I LOVE Stila eye liners and this is the most gorgeous deep purple liner. I find these stick to the waterline really well and last all night and genuinely live up to their waterproof title. They seriously do not budge. This was my favourite product in the box.

7) Collection Lengthening Mascara in Ultra Black 17- For ultra long and defined lashes. I always love trying new mascaras and this is no exception. I have never tried Collection mascaras before, so this will be interesting. The packaging is very similar to the covergirl mascaras too.

8) Lola Nail Polish in 'Bluebell' a really gorgeous grey/blue varnish perfect for all seasons and it'll be nice to try out the Lola formula as I haven't done before. This shade would look PERFECT with a  tan- an excuse to go away!

9)Xen-Tan Luminous Gold Gel- Not much to say, but I doubt I will use this. This develops in just 3 hours, so it's great if you're in a rush!

10) Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels- I have heard a lot about Skyn Iceland and know that you can get it in M&S but not used it myself. I definitely need these any time of day haha so can't wait to get stuck in.

11) Vichy Purette Thermale 3 in 1 & Idealia Life Serum - I love Vichy products and always save these kind of samples for when I go away. The 3 in 1 is a cleanser, toner and eye makeup remover in one, and the serum brightens the complexion which my skin definitely needs in this weather.

12) Last but not least, a free subscription to Glamour UK iPad and iPhone editions. Fab!

I really enjoyed this box, did you get one too?

They are still available at here for £16.99 inc delivery!

  1. I have never tried this box or any of these product before but it looks like you got a really nice box, are you gonna review any of these products?

    1. I will probably review the Stila Eye pencil and the Skyn:Iceland eye gels . I am using the hairbands at the moment though as a matter of fact and they are good but not as good invisibobble xx
