PPPick Up A Paw Paw Papaya

Hey everyone,
I had seen this product flying around a bit on the internet and thought I would give it a go. I absolutely love the Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, and genuinely thought that had just re-packaged it. I went into my local Boots but sadly, didn't have it so I headed online and picked it up in store. The Papaya Gold Paw Paw Papaya includes added Bio Active Manuka Honey 20+ so it's a more supercharged version of the Luca Paw Paw. The Manuka Honey 20+ means the grade of honey is of a therapeutic level and has been hailed an 'miracle' honey by the boffs at Cardiff University.

This is a brilliant product and I definitely know I will getting my use out of this summer. It is literally a miracle in tube. Unlike the Lucas Paw Paw, this doesn't say that it can be used on burns, scratches, grazes, splinters, insect bites, boils or open wounds. Maybe they've missed a trick as surely with the manuka honey as an added active ingredient they would have jumped onto that quick smart as if its so wonderful it would surely help with these skin complaints? I'll have to test that one out.

Lucas' Paw Paw Ointment

The Lucas' has only fermented pawpaw and potassium sorbate and this is a yellowish colour with an unusual scent- I don't think in any way that it is offensive and it doesn't bother me at all. The papaya scent is completely colour and odourless so I think this with appeal to a few more people that like scentless products.

I personally love both and makeup artists all over the world swear by the Lucas', but I think Papaya Gold with appeal to a bigger market just because its more readily available- it is still SO hard to find Lucas' anywhere in actual stores.

I actually found somewhere you can buy both! Here  The Lucas' Paw Paw is £4.95 and the Papaya Gold is £5.45 so there really isn't much difference. You can get the Papaya Gold online now at Boots for £5.99. I genuinely love both products so I think its just a preference of which you would rather have. They both work terrifically.

Have you tried either?

Until next time,

A x
