Flamingo Candles: Asian Pear & Plum

Hey everyone,

Hope all is well, I know it's been so flipping hot these past few days and it's not necessarily the weather for candles- but for the past few nights I have been burning this beautiful candle from Flamingo* it is their Asian Pear & Plum one. I like fresh scents in candles, and am really not a super sickly sweet candle fan and often opt for something that doesn't give you a headache. This really hits the spot!

They come in a square glass jar, with each Flamingo a different a colour. The wax is a mint green, and the flamingo purple. They also come with a screw on lid, which I think is a really nifty little idea. The wick is really thick, and they burn really evenly, so lop sided wonky looking candles to be seen around here! The scent is quite fruity with notes of citrus, plum, peach and obviously pear and floral scents such as jasmine and freesia. For me, the base of white musk and woody scents are what make it perfect as it offsets the sweetness of the fruit. So it's not sickly at all. The burning time for these is approximately 50 hours- so for £12.00 this really is a bargain. The scent also lingers in the room for longer, so even if you pop out and a couple of hours later you come home, there will still be a subtle scent.
I'll definitely be getting my mitts on more as they are truly wonderful candles that don't cost the Earth.

These are also organic AND hand poured in Britain. What's not to love?

I definitely have my eyes on the Orange, Mandarin and Basil candle, Autumn Bergamot and Grapefruit and Oriental Lotus & Rose Otto ones too. So many too choose from!

These are available from Flamingo Candles now for £12.00 (400g) . They also do larger sizes (980g) for £22.00- their burning time is over 100 hours.
