Review: Topshop Gloss Ink

Hey everyone,

I have a new love in my life and it is the Topshop Gloss Ink in Sloe Gin, words can't describe how beautiful it is.

The packaging is quite sleek and I definitely prefer the black tube as opposed to it being white, like the lipsticks. It doesn't look mucky in your makeup bag! The matte tube with the glossy lettering looks really stylish.

The applicator is a doe foot, so easy to apply and it definitely looks darker in the tube than it does when it's actually on your lips. The name Sloe Gin is what swung it for me- I love Gin, in particular Sloe Gin. The fact that it is a beautiful colour is a bonus!

The colour is a rich pink/purple, it applies glossy but to me to dries more on the matte side. I have worn this product for an entire day and even after eating it still doesn't budge. The wear on the it is nice also, no ring around the lip line. It also leaves a pretty just bitten stain once the 'gloss' has worn off.

I would definitely try these in different colours but I think that this will still be my favourite. These are less expensive and give the YSL glossy stains a run for their money, and I think they are lot nicer and longer lasting the L'Oreal version too. It definitely gets a massive thumbs up from me.

Now available at Topshop online and in store for £8- bargain!

Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts? Why not tweet me @amiisteward or comment below

Until next time

A xx
