New On The Scene: Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection

Hey everyone,

Now I got SO excited when I heard that Pixiwoo aka Sam & Nic Chapman (Haste) were releasing a luxe range of brushes named Bold Metals. I have only seen pictures on Instagram of the latest offerings and they already seem to be available in Ulta in the US and handful of UK stores. I'll do a reeky when I'm in Norwich tomorrow. Now the price tag is higher on these, but they look amazing quality and a fluffy like Hakuhodo brushes- without their eyewateringly high price tag!

Hair Heaven: AirMotion

Hey everyone,
I thought that I would share with you my latest love affair- the Airmotion hairbrush. How I ever functioned without it, I will never know.

This is a super lightweight brush with different bristle lengths to contour your scalp that is designed to reduce daily wear and tear on the hair. The built in AirShock unit reduces the strain on the hair providing an air cushioned base to help reduce shock to the scalp.

I thought I'd let you all have a peek inside the My Little Box by Fleur De Force edition. The box is SO cute with a little illustration of Fleur on herself and the contents sum her up to a tee I think.
There is the standard My Little World which has an interview with Fleur in, as well as lots of DIY ideas and general information about the contents of the box and cute gift ideas.

The Dream Box II : British Beauty Blogger x Latest In Beauty

Hey everyone,
So FINALLY here is my post on the Dream Box II from BBB. I was SO pleased to get my hands on one, and thank you to my little sister who- on her birthday- stayed at home to get me one as I was at work. This was released the same day as the Glossybox x Harvey Nichols but personally- this box trumps the Glossybox 100x over. Jane has once again hit the nail on the head. There is something for everyone in here and it is absolutely jam packed. Hair, body, makeup- you name it. It's there!
In the first Dream Box there were SO many fantastic items and I will forever thank Jane for introducing me to Kneipp- well.... my whole entire family are hooked. Deep Sleep salts are on constant order in my household! Check out my previous vid for the Dream Box here .

Hey everyone,
Soon this post has been a long time coming. I don't know where the time is going and had every intention of getting this up as soon as I got it but my Dental Nursing record of experience was nearing the deadline and that has to be my priority. But HOORAY! I have finished it now.
My sister managed to snag me a box when they came out (on her birthday- she stayed home to get it for me. Best sis ever!

In-Line Ortho and Christmas Markets

Hey everyone,

If you don't know by now, I am a trainee dental nurse. Last weekend the Practice I work at went to Germany- Rastede to be precise to see the In-Line Orthodontic laboratory and then visited some Christmas markets whilst we were there. Ortho fascinates me and you can find out more about Ortho here and the technology they are developing is awesome. All of the staff are like a family and they were all so hospitable and lovely. It was great to learn about the whole process and in general a fab trip. Shame it couldn't have been longer!

Makeup Maths- Illamasqua Comparison Chart

Hey everyone,

Now we all know Temptalia has a foundation matrix, and sometimes I find it a bit confusing if I'm honest. Especially as a lot of the products featured you can't get in the UK. I have known about the Illamasqua comparison chart for a while, and thought it might be interesting for everyone as a helping hand when choosing foundation shades. You don't necessarily have to use it exactly for Illamasqua foundations for example if you are the shade Mont Blanc in Nars Sheer Glow, you would be a SB2- and if you wanted that shade but in a different brand such as Mac Studio Fix foundation, then you would be NC15- it's like makeup maths!

The brands listed in the comparison chart are:
Illamasqua
NARS
MAC
YSL
Bobbi Brown

I found this extremely helpful when choosing my NARS foundation. It lists almost every variant of the foundations of the brands which is even better (especially as MAC and Bobbi Browns lists are never ending!)

I hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful

Lip Loving: Rimmel Provocalips

Hey everyone,

Rimmel's latest offering is nothing short of bloody brilliant. Usually I am not a fan of the double ended lip products, but for these I make an exception.

Rimmel's new Provocalips is said to provide 16hr kiss proof colour. It does this and SO much more. First you put the coloured end on the lips, and then apply the clear like top coat. Sometimes top coats can be quite cracking or drying on the lips, but this seems to provide moisture and more balm like on the lips, making it SO much more comfortable to wear. I kissed (not Avan Jogia) but my lovely other half, and he cannot STAND me kissing with him lippie on as it gets everywhere- but there is no trace here whatsoever, so it's a win win situation! I had lunch and dinner- no sign of any where either. Even when I went to bed, there was still a slight stain that even BioDerma or cleansing balm couldn't get off! I will happily admit that I am really lazy when it comes to topping up lippie during the day, so anything that is more convenient is welcome in my books. The doe foot applicator also makes it easy for precision application. These wear evenly on lips and do not bobble or gather in the corners of your mouth if you do apply straight on top either.

The packaging is ok, but I do find that the lips on the balm end do make the product look a bit cheaper, but apart from that these get top marks from me.

L-R: 301 Little Minx (fuchsia) and 500 Kiss Me You Fool (blue toned red)

Long lasting colour, affordable and lovely shade range!

Kneipp Haul- The Best Bathtime You'll Ever Have!

So my mum and I went a bit Kneipp crazy after she fell in love with their Deep Sleep bath salts which are beyond divine (it deserves a post all to itself, so that'll be up soon!)

I have tried that Therapie bath salts that everyone raves about, but they're not a patch on these beauts. We thought we would basically try nearly the whole entire range with some shower gels thrown in there for good measure - they were 3 for 2 so who could pass up that offer?

I would just like to point out that each item came individually wrapped it the cutest grey and white tissue paper, with little hand drawn pictures of their products. I know most of the time you just throw that packaging into a heap in the corner, but this was just too sweet to get rid of.

Now it's time to introduce you all these wonderful bath time gems

The shower gels are Orange & Linden Blossom (l) and Red Poppy and Hemp (r)
I am in the process of testing them all and so far the Cold and Sinus Relief really helped ease my cold when I was ill a couple of weeks ago and the Deep Sleep works 100%- you'll be out like a light and the Joint and Muscle salts helped to ease my back so all in all a massive thumbs up from me. I would recommend Kneipp to anyone.

You can now buy Kneipp at Graftons Beauty

They are all currently on 3 for 2 and with some GORGEOUS sets for Christmas too!

Amii
